MoSuke, a fine dining establishment in Paris, is renowned for its unparalleled culinary experience. I collaborated with a designer to craft a visually captivating website to tell their process and their story.

Michelin-starred restaurants dedicate meticulous efforts to provide a unique dining experience.
They employ intricate details, timing, and personalization to showcase their passion and expertise.
However, these high standards often do not translate to their websites. Restaurant websites primarily serve as reservation platforms, lacking representation of the restaurant's ethos or a compelling narrative.
Navigational challenges and slow page-load times further detract from the overall user experience. The websites are a part of the customer’s dining experience: it should tell the narrative in a concise way, guide the customer and make them feel like they are taken care of.

Examining a specific case, MoSuke's current website presents accessibility and functional challenges. The homepage lacks interactivity, instantly redirecting users to a reservation page, potentially causing them to overlook other important sections due to a flawed navigation design. Moreover, suboptimal page-load times hinder the overall usability of the website.
The impact of revamping Mosuke’s website is significant. Slow-loading and difficult-to-navigate platforms can deter potential customers, resulting in reduced traffic and business for the restaurants. The redesigned website aims to overcome these challenges, offering improved navigation and effectively communicating the restaurant's unique story.
This project has been a valuable learning experience, particularly in terms of collaboration with a designer. It involved understanding and implementing specifications, effectively communicating visions for the website, and gaining proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a fully responsive design.
